This app is a simple, yet powerful, tool to help facilitate "Lean Coffee" style discussions. What is a "Lean Coffee"? From leancoffee.org, "Lean Coffee is a structured, but agenda-less meeting. Participants gather, build an agenda, and begin talking. Conversations are directed and productive because the agenda for the meeting was democratically generated."
The idea is to start the 8 min timer when discussing a topic. If the timer lapses, take a quick thumbs up/down vote to gauge if conversation should continue. If so, start the 4 min timer, then the 1 min timer in the same manner. If you go the full length of time, wrap it up, table further discussion for another time and move on to the next topic.
Times are adjustable to meet the needs of your team.
